Well, I Guess My Hand Doesn't Hurt (A Song of the Living, Dead, and the People in Between, Whatever That Means)

about

on a bad day, i hit my father and he kept asking me if my hand hurt... in an attempt to make me feel like i did nothing to him, i guess. i was definitely in the right as i usually am with him and this patronizing got to me really hard.

when we got home from the event we were attending, i loaded up a bunch of crazy samples on my electronic drumkit and pounded away. that's what you hear at the beginning/middle of the song (The Living and the In Between). the samples are of these crazy synth demos and then i went and found a bunch of screams from the Death Grips discography, reverbed them up, and went ham.

the end is supposed to be death. i use an e-bow. it sounds nice and that's the point.

lyrics

this is an instrumental track but there is screaming so figure it out for yourself
