my love for ambient music really ramped up in 2018. i started diving into those airy feels from discovering bands like Grouper, Sigur Ros, and slowcore bands like Drowse and Have a Nice Life after hearing the guitar riff that ben and matt sent me to manipulate into a short ambient interlude. this ended up being probably the song i was most involved in. despite it being short and instrumental i had a lot of fun making it.

i remember fiddling around on the electric guitar and ben told me to keep playing as he started to play. that was the foundation of this song.

bryce originally said that this was one of the less important tracks on the album and while i can see why he said that, i would respectfully disagree with him. this song was born out of me and matt playing two similar patterns on the guitar, me saying "HOLY SHIT THAT'S AMAZING" and proceeding to record it, loop it, and send it to bryce who was supposed to make it a unified little ambient ditty. and i'll say he fucking accomplished that.

the vocals at the end are a harmony test from ages ago. nothing to analyze.
